Dear friends,
Coffee has always been an integral part of my life. Coming from a family of coffee growers, I witnessed the dedication and care my mother and aunts poured into cultivating and harvesting their beans. Beyond its commercial value, coffee embodied our childhood hopes—new uniforms and paid school fees—just as it did for so many other children in Africa’s coffee-growing regions.
I still cherish the memory of our mothers beaming with pride when, after selling their coffee, they could treat themselves to a new wax-print fabric—a tradition that lives on today. Behind every cup lies the vital work of the women who, from plantation to harvest, shape our coffee with passion and expertise.
Drawing on this heritage, I founded Karibu Coffee to showcase the excellence of our terroir and our cultural legacy.
